In one corner, we’ve got CraveOnline in the blue and yellow trunks. In the other corner, we’ve got… Mike Tyson, here to talk about his upcoming cartoon, “Mike Tyson Mysteries”. Apparently, “not a lot of money,” plus Adult Swim and a dash of the former undisputed champion of the world equals all kinds of awesome. Seriously. Tyson also talks about his love for cartoons and comic book characters as a youth, long before he took a job punching people’s faces.
The comedy cartoon features a face tattoo-inspired van akin to the Mystery Machine, a talking pigeon appropriately named Pigeon that is voiced by Norm MacDonald, Jim Rash from Community an 18th century ghost named Queensbury, and Mike Tyson’s adopted daughter Yung Hee all coming together for a show that’s been that’s been described as “Scooby-Doo meets the A-Team… with Mike Tyson.” That’s one hell of a knockout idea right there.
“Mike Tyson Mysteries” will air this fall on Adult Swim. Stay with CraveOnline for more from “Mike Tyson Mysteries” and the rest of the happenings at Comic-Con 2014.
