For over a year, Marvel and Netflix have remained quiet about its release plans for the live action “Daredevil” series beyond a general 2015 premiere date. But today, the official debut date of “Daredevil” was finally announced.
All 13 episodes of “Daredevil” will premiere on Friday, April 10, 2015. The series stars Charlie Cox in the title role of Matt Murdock, a blind attorney gifted extraordinary senses that he uses to fight crime in Hell’s Kitchen, New York as the costumed vigilante known as Daredevil. Vincent D’Onofrio co-stars as Wilson “The Kingpin” Fisk, with Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson.as Foggy Nelson and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
To mark the occasion, Netflix unveiled a brief “Daredevil” teaser on Youtube.

Netflix also announced that “Marco Polo” will get a second season of ten episodes. Additionally, Netflix revealed the premiere dates for three of its other original series. The former NBC comedy, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” will bow on Friday, March 6; while the drama “Bloodline” will premiere on Friday, March 20.
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin’s comedy series, “Grace and Frankie” will debut on Friday, May 8, 2015. Currently unscheduled is Marvel’s “AKA Jessica Jones,” the follow up series to “Daredevil” that will lead into the “”Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist” series before “The Defenders” miniseries brings the heroes together for team up.
