According to our friends at BadAss Digest, while discussing a movie he is set to produce for Screen Gems, at the Sony affiliate’s panel, Sam Raimi dropped that he and Bruce Campbell are developing an Evil Dead TV show. Come again? How would this work? Where does it pick up from? Is it The Book of the Dead meets Tales of the Crypt? What are your ideas?!
It appears that Raimi went off script for this tidbit which is exactly what sends Comic-Con into a fantastic frenzy. What movie was he there to talk about? Last of Us. A video game adaptation that focuses on two survivors in a post-apocalyptic world. The award-winning video game centers on Joel and Ellie, “two rag-tag survivors living in a post-apocalyptic world.”
