At the end of “24” Season 6, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) was forced to leave his longtime love, Audrey Raines behind after she had been left in a near vegetative state. But next year, Audrey Raines could be back on “24.”
Deadline is reporting that Kim Raver is in negotiations to reprise her role as Audrey in the upcoming “24: Live Another Day” miniseries. Raver made her first appearance on “24” during the fourth season and stayed on the show through the fifth and sixth seasons.
Rumors of Raver’s return first broke when Mary Lynn Rajskub signed on for “Live Another Day” as Chloe O’Brian, Jack’s most dependable ally during the original series. Currently, there’s no word about whether any other former cast members will come back, as most of the major characters were killed off during the course of the series.
Outside of “24,” Raver is best known for her roles in “Third Watch,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “”The Nine” and “Lipstick Jungle.” More recently, Raver had a recurring role on NBC’s “Revolution” and a starring role on the “NCIS: RED” spinoff that was passed over by CBS.
“24: Live Another Day” will premiere in May 2014 on Fox.
