Daredevil: Born Again’s Reported Runtime Is as Long as Past Netflix Seasons

The possible runtime of Episodes 1 and 2 of Marvel Studios’ upcoming superhero drama Daredevil: Born Again has been revealed by an industry insider. The Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio-led show is created by Dario Scardapane and will have numerous characters making a return to the franchise.

Daredevil: Born Again Episode 1 is rumored to be 58 minutes long

Hollywood scooper Cryptic4KQual recently took to X (formerly Twitter) and revealed the possible runtime for Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 1 and 2.

The insider claimed, “The first episode of DD Born Again is 58 minutes and the second is 47 minutes.” This means that the series might be following a similar runtime pattern as Netflix’s Daredevil show.

Cryptic4KQual further claimed that Daredevil: Born Again will have long episodes and wrote, “Idk the rest, but It is said that the rest of the series maintains proper runtime lengths.” This would seemingly address concerns from fans about the short runtimes of other Marvel TV shows. However, this is just a rumor and Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed the durations for Born Again episodes.

Notably, fans were upset with series like Secret Invasion for its short episodes. The Samuel L. Jackson-led show recorded around 3 hours and 43 minutes as the duration for all of its six episodes combined (recaps or credits not included), making it one of the shortest MCU Disney+ series.

Daredevil: Born Again, on the other hand, will have a total of nine episodes. Creator Dario Scardapane, in a recent conversation with Empire Magazine, conveyed that fans can expect action-packed episodes. He told the outlet, “The level of violence is way up there for a Marvel/Disney show. I don’t think there’s anything else even in the ballpark. There’s a moment in this that is just absolutely bats—, and way past anything Netflix ever did.”

Born Again will be available on Disney+ from Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
