Listen: Jack White Delivers a New Sound on ‘Blue Light, Red Light’

Fresh off Sunday’s Grammys win for Best Rock Performance and a killer new show poster packed with surprises, Jack White delivers a new song today with a completely different vocal spirit from his normal spectrum: a cover of Harry Connick, Jr.’s “Blue Light, Red Light”.

The cover will be available on the 7-inch vinyl release of “That Black Bat Licorice,” the newest single from Jack’s tremendous new album Lazaretto (Third Man Records/Columbia – read our review). Jack recently performed the track as the musical finale’ of the GRAMMY week Los Angeles residency of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. View his scorching Tonight Show performance here.

Jack White Reunites The Raconteurs in Surprise Performance

The “That Black Bat Licorice” 7-inch per-orders are available now via Third Man Records. Both songs from the single will be available digitally worldwide on February 17.
