Following a week of speculation and leaks, the lineup for the inaugural UNIFY Gathering has been announced and it features the likes of The Amity Affliction, Northlane, In Hearts Wake, Thy Art Is Murder, Deez Nuts, and more premiere Australian heavy acts.
The festival will be a boutique two-day event held in South Gippsland this January.
The UNIFY concept is to create a community-driven event of around 3000 punters across the punk, hardcore and metal world, with an all Australian lineup that showcases the quality and diversity of the nation’s heavy music culture.
Punters can also look forward to an appearance from hardcore favourites Break Even, who are reuniting just to perform at UNIFY, as well as sets from Confession, Buried In Verona, Hand Of Mercy, Antagonist AD, Hellions, and Storm The Sky.
UNIFIED and The Hills Are Alive have united to bring the event to the picturesque pastures of Tarwin Meadows, a two-hour drive from Melbourne. In addition to the live performance lineup, UNIFY Gathering will feature live DJs, a mini-golf course, a sports field, multiple chill-out areas, street-cart food, BYO and licensed areas, a late-night cinema, and much more.
Tickets for UNIFY start from $99 and include free camping on-site. Tickets will come in special bundles that can include event-branded sunglasses, t-shirts, stubby coolers, and posters.
