Singer-songwriter, producer and professionally trained dancer Gavin Turek is crackling with an infectiously buoyant energy that was made for pop music. Turek’s highly capable backing band provides a rhythmic backbone for her ebullient charms and live-wire intensity, a perfect mix for live performance.
At home in the intersections of pop, R&B and EDM, Gavin has honed and expanded her style in collaborations with a variety of artists, from her features on some of TOKiMONSTA’s biggest hits (“Little Pleasures,” “Darkest (Dim),” “Clean Slate” and “Foolish”) to an entire mixtape with Com Truise (Com Truise vs. Gavin (Re)mixtape). Her own recorded debut, The Break-Up Tape, is a three-track EP of electro-pop inspired by a bad breakup, a musical grieving process laced by Moroder-inspired synth beats and captivating lyrics.
