Glass Animals are the latest act leaked for the New Year’s Eve 2014/15 Falls Festival.
At least a week away from the festival’s official lineup announcement, the Oxford four-piece were given away in a less than traditional method for festival leaks after a screen shot of a feature from women’s magazine Cleo was published online.
The image (below), via Tone Deaf, shows a brief interview with frontman Dave Bayley and introduces the band as an announced part of the Falls Festival lineup.
Bayley also discusses his love for Aussie audiences in the interview.
“You guys dance and have fun. [You’re] a lot different to crowds around the world where they’re very serious and look like they’re judging you the entire time,” he said.
Electronic producer Tycho’s involvement with the festival was also confirmed on Wednesday by Music Feeds after accidently publishing festival dates on his website.
Other rumoured bands include Spiderbait and German duo Milky Chance, who told Triple J in June that they were likely to embark on a Down Under festival tour scheduled for January.
