New Year’s Eve event Falls Festival is back again this summer for three dates in Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron Bay.
Following on from last year’s successful inaugural run among Australia’s top summer events, Falls Festival organisers are making it simple for fans with the “same days and timelines” as 2013, but with an easy exit day on January 1 for punters in Lorne and Marion Bay.
The festival says it is still “working on” this year’s lineup and will announce the bill in the near future despite zero hints thus far as to who will be on the East Coast to help bring in the New Year.
Falls Festival shares a similar lineup to Western Australia’s Southbound Festival, which announced yesterday January 2015 dates and a new camping structure. Last year’s tour hosted Vampire Weekend, The Roots, !!!, MGMT, Grizzly Bear, Violent Femmes.
Hit German duo Milky Chance is one band that may make their debut on Australian soil this Falls Festival after hinting last month of a possible tour Down Under this summer.
