Southbound Reveals 2015 Dates, Camping Overhaul

Western Australia’s Southbound has dropped dates for the festival’s summer return plus new changes to camping aimed at making the festival a whole lot more convenient for punters.

Southbound is heading back to the regional coastal town of Busselton for the eleventh time on Saturday January 3 and 4 next year and is teaming up with the City of Busselton to optimise the camping experience for WA punters.

A radical overhaul has been approved that will now enable festival goers to drive right to their camping spot and setup alongside their vehicles, eliminating the hassle of “lugging your belongings for a distance before slumping in what may as well be a camping spot because you can’t keep walking with all this baggage”.

The changes add convenience to the Southbound experience while providing extra security for personal belongings.

We’re still awaiting word of next year’s line-up, but previous bills have produced the likes of Vampire Chet Faker, Gossling, Grizzly Bear, Asta, Johnny Marr, London Grammar, Violent Soho, Solange and Big Scary.

Check out the official Southbound website for all news and updates.
