Ready for a seizure? The new Nine Inch Nails video for the first single off Hesitation Marks has arrived, though David Lynch's visual take on "Came Back Haunted" certainly leaves much to be desired.
The one-sided comments on the YouTube clip say it all: there is very little love to be found for a punishing four-plus minute fit of blurry, limited visuals. It's hard to be convinced of the artistic merit of flashing lights and a negative image of a girl dancing with a gas mask on when the clip goes absolutely nowhere and features Trent Reznor as merely a shaking blur. This is a one-watch clip at best – and that's if you can get through this headache-bait without smashing your screen.
