CraveOnline’s new Band of The Month feature centers on Los Angeles soul-rock champions and Crave staff favorites Nico Vega, and over the past few weeks we’ve been bringing you weekly exclusive in-studio performances of our CraveOnstage sessions, spotlighting what it is that sets these cats apart from the pack.Lucky for you, we’ve been saving the best for last.
With a new EP Fury oh Fury, a new album set to arrive this summer and material for their next record already in the works, there’s no shortage of musical treasure for longtime Nico Vega fans to sink their teeth into – as well as a strong back catalogue for newcomers to mine as they fall deeper in love with a band we’ve been screaming about from the digital rooftops since 2008.
The first installment of Nico Vega’s feature coverage included an exclusive interview with vocalist Aja Volkman, as well as an energized vocal-loop performance of the fan-favorite track “Back of My Hand”. Then we brought you an electrifying performance of the uptempo jam “Lightning,” one of our personal favorites from the group, as well as an awesomely intense take on “Fury Oh Fury“.
The final installment of Nico Vega’s CraveOnstage session is a thrilling one, featuring a wildly intense take on the bombastically anthemic “Beast,” a track which has been given new life through the BioShock Infinite soundtrack. Check it out below!
Nico Vega have also announced a summer co-headlining tour with Crash Kings and new album, Lead To Light.
