Having released his debut album 99.9% just weeks ago (on which he dismantles hip-hop, EDM and a host of their ancestors before reassembling it all in genre-defying grooves), Kaytranada could have easily sat on his hands for a while. Instead, he’s freaked “Kiss It Better,” one of the strongest tracks from Rihanna’s Anti album, and transformed it into an arms-in-the –air dancefloor jam. The retooled track premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, and after it ends Kaytranada talks a bit about why he was drawn to the track in the first place.
