Although their first new album since 2010’s Plastic Beach hasn’t been officially announced, Gorillaz have some new information that will have fans clamoring for plane tickets.
Gorillaz have broadcast across social media that they will headline their own music festival this summer. The inaugural edition of Demon Dayz will take place June 10 at the Dreamland amusement park in Margate, a seaside town in the district of Thanet in Kent, England.
With three stages and the full line-up set to be announced soon, tickets go on general sale at 9am on March 10. For further details head to the Demon Dayz festival website.
If you’re bummed you won’t be able to make it across the pond, don’t fret mate. Red Bull TV will be doing a live broadcast of the one-off, one-day event.
