The Pitchfork Music Festival announced it’s headliners 2017 and it’s going to be “yuge.” LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest and Solange will receive top billing for the 12th annual event to be held this summer (July 14–16) in Union Park.

Although LCD Soundsystem did headline last year’s Lollapalooza (they’re working a new album) the Pitchfork Music Festival generally offers a nice alternative than Chicago’s other big music festival. In true form, Pitchfork Music Festival will offer a special collaboration with Saint Heron, the innovative label and arts platform founded by Solange Knowles.
The Saint Heron-curated event series will feature an onsite art installation, film screening, artist talks, late night jazz jam sessions, and more. These will take place from Thursday, July 13 through Sunday, July 16 at various locations throughout Chicago.
The full Pitchfork Music Festival will be announced in the coming weeks. As of today, ticket prices have increased to $75 a day, and $175 for a three-day pass. A layaway option for regularly priced three-day passes is also being offered, where you will be able to pay the $175 price over three installments. This offer will expire on March 1.
