Are spiders nature’s most misunderstood creatures? After all, the mere mention of them (especially in large quantities) is enough to send shivers down the average person’s spine. They’re so reviled, in fact, that when someone sets their house on fire trying to murder them, it doesn’t even sound all that unreasonable.
All that said, is it possible for a “cute” spider to exist? In the mind of Pixar animator Josh Slice, a resounding “Yes!” is surely in order.

Of course, putting hilarious voiceover on top of virtually anything can soften the blow of even the most grotesque of creepy-crawlies. In this case, we’ve got an adorably animated spider coupled with the voice of Slice’s nephew Lucas. Obviously, that’s a recipe for success. And if you don’t believe us, here’s another internet-classic example of an otherwise ugly and terrifying spider made tolerable with nothing more than a silly dub:
