It’s that scary, suspenseful time of terror once again, the time when you’re consistently on the verge of shitting your pants – Halloween horror movie time. Of all the streaming services (we think we know which is best), there are plenty of the scariest suspenseful to choose from, but since you’re indecisive and don’t know any better, we’re picking 10 horror flicks for you.

"Maggie" (Hulu)
Fans of The Walking Dead will appreciate a true zombie spectacle with the slow-burning father-daughter drama, Maggie. The film features Arnold Schwarzenegger in his most comprehendible role.

"Halloween" (Showtime)
Halloween is not complete without Halloween, even if it is Rob Zombie's remix. The 2007 reboot was the beginning of more Mike Myers reboots, including the latest announcement involving Danny McBride, Judy Greer and, Halloween creator, John Carpenter.

"The Strangers" (HBO)
One of my favorite types of scary movies involve home invasions in which the killer(s) somehow knows the layout of the house better than its actual tenants. And they can never seem to recall where they keep their own fucking knives. Still, this is one of the most enjoyed ones of this genre, which has an expected sequel on the way.

"Clown" (Netflix)
A father only wants what is best for his son on his birthday, but once that birthday is done, that father is going to need you to start feeding him children in his clown outfit again. A truly surprisingly good clown horror.

"The Witch" (Amazon)
As far as witch movies go, this one threw it back to what felt like witch origins before all the hocus pocus stuff. The setting alone with the family in the woods was creepy enough naturally before everything went sideways.

"The Babadook" (Netflix, Showtime)
A children's book character coming to life is hardly originally, but in terms of a horror film, it's completely wonderful. The Babadook still stands as one of our favorite scary movies on Netflix.

"It Follows" (Netflix)
Original in its plot and set in modern times, we got a real appreciation for horror films that step outside the movie box. This one kept us on the edge of our seats the entire time, and the ending was just right, too.

"Rosemary's Baby" (Amazon)
You have to have classic horror in your Halloween diet, lest it becomes a Disney-like sham. This is arguably the greatest horror movie of all time, right up there with the adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining and It.

"Hatchet" (Hulu)
This gruesome giant Chucky-esque production has an older feel, but the movie is only about a decade old. Careful watching this one alone, especially if you're planning on a late night stroll in the woods after.

"Stephen King's Children of the Corn" (Netflix)
It's about the creepiest thing we could think of: children. Not only children, but possessed ones. Stephen King truly has a beautifully disturbing brain, doesn't he?
