Making the rounds on the internet this morning is a video of what looks like a student completely going bonkers at her professor after he destroys her fake ID. The class is shocked as the student using a lot of salty language to make her anger known. And for the longest time people actually thought this was real. But guess what? It was all a set-up.
The “incident” occurs at Syracuse University on the first day of a public policy class taught by William D. Coplin. Coplin then decides to confiscate a student’s fake ID in front of the entire class, which makes the undercover student lose it. That student? A drama student by the name of Victoria Patti. Let’s take a look at that freakout below. And heads up: it has NSFW language.

For any student there of course they would believe it. It also doesn’t hurt that Patti’s performance is pretty damn good. Meryl Streep would approve, right?
It seems that Professor Conlin does this every year to kick off the school year. He “hires” a student from a drama class and tricks his class. Quite the way to introduce your students to learning.
Patti herself even comments on her “fame.”
.@barstoolsports thanks for giving me my 15 mins. hopefully one day this is not my biggest accomplishment

And even though a little research would give away the fact that this is all a big prank, some people still haven’t been clued in. Just look at the nasty comments that Patti has been getting.
