Study Says Nearly Half Of Men Can’t Locate The Vagina On A Diagram

So now that you know that a vagina can become “depressed” if it goes without sex, it’s time we let you in on some other vagina-related news: it seems that almost half of all men don’t even know where the vagina is.

A new survey, conducted by The Eve Appeal for Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month, asked 1,000 dudes to label the vagina on a diagram of a vagina, vulva, cervix, ovaries and the Fallopian tubes. And out of those 1,000 dudes about 500 correctly labeled the vagina. That’s right, the other half were completely clueless. And for those who don’t know, the vagina is the muscular “tube” inside the woman’s body.

According to the study, many guys believe that the vulva, which is the external female sexual organs comprising of the labia and clitoris among other parts – is the vagina.

“Men can play a vital role in identifying the symptoms of gynecological cancer, prompting their partners to visit the GP. Early diagnosis can save lives,” Athena Lamnisos, of The Eve Appeal, said.

More numbers from the study revealed that only ten percent of men are confident they could identify their other lady’s privates in a line-up. Oh, and one in five men thought his partner’s V-ville was attractive. Come on, fellas.

“The alarming results of this survey highlight the need for better sex education.” Janice Rymer, of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said. You think?

So remember, guys: pick up a book and educate yourself before you dive in there. Gals like a guy who is intelligent. In fact, gals like a guy who knows where the vagina is.
