Apartment Hunting Gets Super Awkward When Woman’s Broker Accidentally Sexts Her

If you’ve ever attempted to look for a place to live, especially in NYC, you should know that it is hell on earth — which is pretty close to what living in NYC actually feels like. But one woman’s apartment hunting adventures became very, very uncomfortable when her broker decided to sext her. Accidentally of course.

Shannon Odell, a 27-year-old comedian currently lives with two roomies out in Brooklyn. But according to Someecards, Odell is looking for an apartment for her and her boyfriend. And since it’s misery looking for a place to live, Odell hired a broker to help her find a place. And apparently this broker has quite the way with words.

Take a look at what Odell’s broker accidentally sexted her one day out of the blue.

Holy hell, I’m cringing. But guess what? Odell actually went to see the apartment even after this sext.

And the broker wouldn’t stop bringing it up.

Odell tells us the broker was “very embarrassed, BUT he did bring [the incident] up a lot so maybe that was just his way of coping with the embarrassment.” Apparently, he offered to give them the apartment for a “lower fee” (12%, which is actually pretty typical, respect the hustle!). And he also offered them “25 dollars off the application fee” but she and her boyfriend “weren’t really interested in the apartment” anyway, so they passed.

And you just knew Twitter was going to go…nuts.

Sounds like blast.
