Remember a while back we told you folks about a girl that had given her boyfriend an insane list of rules to follow before he headed out on a vacation without her? Well this situation is similar, but this time around it’s flipped around.
That’s right, folks. A 20-year-old man named Josh Utting has gone viral after a list he gave his “girlfriend,” 18-year-old Lucy Talton of guidelines to follow while on vacation was shared online. And we have girlfriend in quotes because it’s not even clear if they are actually seriously going out — which makes this even more bonkers.
Let’s first check out the list below thanks to Twitter.

So as you can see some of those rules include, “No talking to boys,” “No eye contact with boys, “No drugs. I will drug test you when I get back” and more. And guess what? Josh even has an explanation for the list and it seems more absurd than the list itself. Here’s what he had to tell UNILAD.
“Well me and Lucy, let’s just say we’re sort of ‘seeing each other’ for a few months and the list was written purely just for a joke and none of it was actually meant to be taken seriously.
But when I sent it, she actually agreed to the things and said they seemed fair enough as long as I stuck to the same things when I was on holiday. The majority of the things in there are what you’d expect someone you’re close to not even do anyway.
So I think the way people are saying I’m psycho etc is a bit extreme because I’m sure they wouldn’t want their boyfriend or girlfriend to do any of those things while on holiday either.
It wasn’t fully sent as a joke – obviously I didn’t want her to get with other lads on holiday, I just made the rules sound extreme for a laugh.”
Translation, “I know I’m out of my mind but here’s a sort of an explanation.” And here’s the hilarious part, it was actually Josh who screwed up as he was caught hooking up with another gal. And it was Lucy herself who shared a screenshot of Josh with another girl on Twitter. What a mess.

Here’s Lucy’s side of things.
“We were seeing each other for about 5/6 months then stopped due to him sleeping with others girls while seeing me. Then we were going to try again because he told me he was in love with me – he made the rules for us to both stick to while on holiday.
I stuck to them and he slept with four girls in a week and in his words: “If I didn’t pull I’d pull one of the girls from the night before.”

Let’s wrap up this seriously messed up “relationship” by having Josh have the final word about hooking up with other women not named Lucy.
“I didn’t want her to get with other guys because we was [sic] supposed to be getting with each other after the holiday, but obviously when I’m drunk I forget these things and get with other girls.”
In conclusion, Josh is utterly useless.
