Florida Woman’s Sign: ‘Don’t Park Here To Buy Your Drugs’

At least now we’ll know which meth heads are illiterate.

According to UPI, a Daytona Beach mother is so pissed about the amount and array of drugs being sold near the apartment complex she calls home that she is taking matters into her own hands.

Tammy Legget says there is only so much policing the police can do, so on top of making 75 phone calls to both 911 and non-emergency numbers since January, she has also installed 15 security cameras to document the traffic in and out of the area as well as one sign that is rather blunt (pun intended).

That sign reads “Don’t park here to buy your drugs. Your dealer is across the street. Smile for the camera.”

“This has been over a year that I’ve been fighting this,” Legget said. “It’s constant in and out traffic over there. For five minutes and gone. I don’t know what’s going to come from over there. I don’t want my kids exposed to it.”

On top of the calls, security cameras and signs, Legget has also decided to shout at the guys and girls stopping by to purchase everything from meth to heroin using a megaphone because “they need to realize all eyes are on them and it’s time to go.”

Police said they have responded to 36 complaints at the apartment complex over the last year, but that obviously seems to be working about as well as a broken rubber.
