Everyone loves goats, especially the dude who took a selfie with one but proceeded to get roasted by Twitter. And it seems like this Maine police officer also loves goats because he decided to spend the day with two goats who had managed to escape from their owner.
Sergeant Daniel Fitzpatrick of the Belfast, Maine Police Department had quite the day at work after he was able to reel in two goats, Louis and Mowgli, after they had escaped from their home and were wandering the streets. Fitzpatrick was able to track down the mini-goats in some stranger’s garage, where they were both eating cat food. Fitzpatrick used a lead to bring the goats into the car, and even handed them carrots and celery.

Fitzpatrick then just drove around looking for the goats’ owner, but not before taking some selfies of his adventure.

Luckily for Fitzpatrick and the goats, the owner’s daughters saw the police department’s Facebook post and picked up the goats later in the day.
Well, glad these goats found their way home. And now they have quite the story to tell.
