Just a couple weeks ago we talked about a terrifying video that shows people opening up a python only to find a guy inside. Dead obviously. And now here comes a story of a hunter that may have messed with nature one too many times, and it seems he paid the price.
A 44-year-old hunter in South Africa named Scott Van Zyl is thought to have been eaten by crocodiles after he went on a hunting safari trip last week with a pack of dogs and a Zimbabwean tracker. Well the hunter and his tracker decided to go in different directions, and neither returned to their truck — and the dogs returned to their camp. Van Zyl’s belongings were found in his truck, along with his rifle. A rescue effort and extensive search led to footprints being found leading into the river, and Van Zyl’s backpack was located nearby.

Eventually, police and animal services later found two Nile crocodiles and decided to shoot them. And well, inside of them they found what they believe to be human remains. Welp.
Sakkie Louwrens, who was part of the search team, said police suspected two Nile crocodiles may have eaten Van Syl.
“We found what could possibly be human remains in them,” Louwrens told The Telegraph.

The human remains are currently being tested by forensic experts to see whether they belong to Van Zyl. Until then, lets stay away from rivers that may be infested with crocs, OK?
