When you order something online that you’re really eager to get, the worst part of it all is waiting those five to eight days before it arrives. And yes, it’s five to eight days because the lord knows I’m not paying extra to get it faster. Plus, I can finally learn how to be a patient adult while waiting for my package. But anyway, one guy realized that the package he was waiting for actually turned out to be a piece of crap. Literally. Let us explain.
It seems that Sam Cooke of Manchester, U.K. wasn’t home when a Royal Mail Carrier swung by his house, because instead of the mail carrier leaving Cooke’s package by the front door, he decided to toss it into his house through an open window. And let’s just say that was the wrong decision.

That’s right, folks. Cooke’s package fell right in the damn toilet. What are the odds?
But not to worry, Cooke informed everyone that the folks at Royal Mail Carrier have reached out to him.
UPDATE: I have been contacted by a member of the Royal Mail team at my local office, the postie is going to knock on my door and apologise

I look forward to meeting him and I will assure him he has nothing to be sorry about, no harm done! Keep up the great work @RoyalMail

Well, at least Cooke is a good sport about it. And besides, this won’t seem like a big deal when an Amazon drone drops a package into traffic and causes a massive pileup. It’s only a matter of time.
