Snapchat is massively popular of course, and people everywhere use it to share all sorts of different things. Some folks use it to convince their partner they are in bed and not at a bar, and some folks use it to tell hilarious sex stories. But 17-year-old name Alexa Pacheco decided to use Snapchat to show everyone the ups and downs she went through when she was locked in her room.
It all kicked off when Pacheco’s parents grounded her and sent her to her room. Oh, they also removed her doorknob so she couldn’t lock her door, because that’s a classic parent move. Perhaps they forgot, but Pacheco’s parents let her keep her phone, and we are glad they did because Pacheco was able to document everything on video when she realized she was completely trapped inside her room after shutting her door closed by accident.
In fact, she was so trapped her own parents had trouble getting her out.

These 43 seconds were better than a lot of movies out there, so kudos to this teen. And kudos to her choice of music to go along with her journey.
And shoutout to my parents for never removing my doorknob because they realized I hated going outdoors anyway.
