It’s tough enough going to the gym and working out, but when people are mocking you while you try to get healthy and fit it’s pretty damn hard to be encouraged to head on over to the gym. I mean, not everyone can look like the Rock, and apparently bodybuilder Diana Andrews believes that because she decided to body shame a woman at the gym, and share it on social media.

Andrews took it to Snapchat to share a screengrab of a video she took of a woman on a treadmill, and then included the words ‘love handles’ on the screengrab. Andrews wasn’t finished there, as she then added that she assumed the woman on the treadmill would later be ‘ordering burgers for delivery.’ Of course, no one thought this was funny.
Let’s first check out the screengrab below.

And here’s the other one.

Of course, the British bodybuilder wasn’t met with kind words. Here are just some of the reactions:
So disappointed in your behaviour. You should be encouraging gym-goers as a bodybuilder yourself but you fat shame #kingofCunts#dianaandrews

Who sponsors her? #Boycot

Dearest #DianaAndrews, my wife and I started as those overweight women in the gym. Together we lost over 200#. So, you know what? Fuck you. pic.twitter.com/Am4Z4wYRO1

I may be late to the #dianaandrews party, but anyone who has surgery to look they way they do shouldn’t be fat shaming anyone.

Andrews of course made all her social media accounts private after the backlash, and came out with a piss-poor apology afterwards.

So it wasn’t her intention to body shame but she made fun of her weight? Got it.
Andrews also added this on her Facebook:
“I want to explain myself for what I have done Tuesday evening after my training session. I saw this girl walking on the treadmill talking on her phone and I made a video and added a comment that she’s probably ordering take away.
The whole point of this video was that she’s using her phone while on the treadmill. The whole story was turned upside down by taking a screenshot and adding comments that I’m body shaming this woman.
I would never do this it’s not who I am. I’m always encouraging people to do their best and push themselves. I’m here to motivate especially women to don’t be afraid and get that work done. People that know me knows I’m not a bully.”
Andrews sure is full of bull.
