Why did the turkeys cross the road?
To…resurrect a dead cat? What? That’s a terrible joke! But also, it’s not a joke, and the turkeys didn’t actually cross the road at all. They are creepily walking circles around the center of it. What’s even more frightening is the deceased — or at least soon to die — kitty in the middle. Surely someone reading this and checking out the video below from Twitter user TheReal_JDavis will have some answers. Until then, we’re going to have to assume witchcraft (which we also know nothing about).

I guess if you wanted to remain cautiously optimistic, you could pretend this was one of those children’s movies where the cute animals talk and they are actually having a funeral for their fallen friend. And then maybe randomly the cat got back up and all was well again. I saw a cartoon like that once when I was a kid called A Song of the Birds, but even then, it was pretty damn dark. Though it did teach me a lesson about not shooting birds with my BB gun that I didn’t soon forget. But that’s neither here nor there. Mostly, this is an open and shut case of WTF, and bird séances are now on my ever growing list of legitimate fears between kangaroo attacks and my death being reenacted as Legos after I die (please don’t reenact my death as Legos when I die).

You may have noticed I didn’t use a single pun in that writeup. That’s because early on I tried to come up with a clever name for what these birds were doing, and all I had was “circle turk.” So, you’re welcome.
