Odds are you best recognize Ethan Tracy from the phrase, “Who in the hell is Ethan Tracy?”
Well, Ethan Tracy is playing golf on the Web.com Tour these days, which means you were probably too busy doing anything else Sunday afternoon to watch Tracy make his way down the 18th fairway at Country Club de Bogota.
Down two strokes to Roberto Diaz, who was already in the clubhouse and probably ordering up the finest cigars and hookers Colombia has to offer, Tracy grabbed a wedge for his third shot that was roughly 101 yards from the cup on the par-5 18th. The objective of the game at this point was pretty simple. Either he holes out and sends the tournament into a playoff or he doesn’t and the trophy (along with the $126,000 top prize) winds up in Diaz’s possession.
Well, since we’re actually doing a story on a Web.com Tour event, take a wild guess at what happened:
Golfer Nails 101-Yard Shot To Force Playoff And Eventually Win Tournament
Ethan Tracy needed to hole this from 101 yards to force a playoff …

Tracy would eventually win the tourney on the second playoff hole thanks to a 20-foot birdie putt, meaning Diaz would have to settle for second place and perhaps a hooker or two from the B-Squad.
