I would dress up as whatever I need to dress up as just to get some doughnuts.
There are plenty of great moms out there, and we’ve talked about some on here before. Let me just remind you of how stealthy this mom was in exiting her child’s room without waking him. And there was also the mom who pulled an awesome (harmless) prank on her 9-year-old daughter. And then we have Utah mom Whitney Kittrell and the awesome thing she did.
Kittrell is a single mother, so when a “Dads and Doughnuts” day was scheduled at her son’s school, Kittrell decide to pull out all the stops to attend.
Kittrell explains the situation on her Facebook.
“When I became a single mom over three years ago, I made a promise with myself that I would do anything I could, even if it meant going out of my comfort zone, to give my kids a ‘normal’ life and the same experiences as other kids,” Kittrell writes. “When my kindergartener came home with a paper saying that they were having ‘Dads and Doughnuts,’ my heart kinda sank. I finally sat him down and asked if he wanted to ask his grandpa to go. He just smiled and said, ‘No. I want you to go. You’re my mom and dad.'”
Well, take a look at what Kittrell did.

That’s right, this mom just dressed up like a dude, and played the part of her son’s dad.
“When I went to leave, (my son) ran after me and hugged me tight around my neck and whispered ‘Mom, I know that you’ll always be there and do anything for me. Thank you. I love you,'” Kittrell said. “He kissed my cheek and ran off.”
Hell, even I’ve never talked like that to my mom, so either I’m a crappy son, or this kid is a better person than I am. Probably both.
Shoutout to this mom who was willing to go the extra mile for her kid.
