Well then, this isn’t something we’ve heard before.
If you’ve been fans of us for a while you should know that we bring you quite a lot of stories about teachers hooking up with students. And that’s mainly because teachers just refuses to stop sleeping around with their pupils. But while the hot Louisiana teacher who hooked up with her student and lost her job, and the California teacher who had oral sex with a student both did awful things, neither of them paid their teen lovers any cash to keep quiet.
Well this teacher did.
Thao “Sandy” Doan, a 27-year-old middle school teacher at Raul Quintanilla Sr. Middle School in Dallas was arrested after it was discovered that she was involved in a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy. And here’s where it gets even crazier: Doan actually paid the team $28,000 to keep his mouth shut about the relationship after the teen threatened Doan with spilling the beans. That’s like her whole damn teacher salary.
The relationship was discovered after the boy’s mother told investigators that her son was receiving “large amounts of money” that he was using for “illegal purposes,” which created problems at home.
“At times, he started getting into drugs, drinking, leaving the house,” the boy’s mother stated. “And he would probably get money and just leave the whole weekend. I wouldn’t hear from him. I’d be out looking for him.”
“She did very bad. She did bad,” the mother added. “And I’m not condoning what he did because I know he was wrong at what he also did because blackmailing is not acceptable.”

The mom actually provided investigators with some screenshots of the message where her son blackmails Doan.
“… watch ima start getting the pics and everything ready … to show the cops right I anit [sic] playing,” one message read.
Another thing that is concerning is his terrible writing skills, but I guess it makes sense since he wasn’t going to school to learn. Doan faces a sexual assault charge, although she was released from jail after posting bail — and this is after Doan admitted to police that she had sex with the teen in a park, and continued to have sex with him through 2015 and 2016.
