Odds are you missed this week’s game between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat because you were busy doing anything else. I mean, let’s face it. Both teams are pure dog shit.
But that means you missed a young lady damn near get decapitated by a falling door during what was supposed to be a super fun on-court promotion at the end of the first quarter for Epic Hotel.
A massive hotel room door was placed at the center of the basketball court at AmericanAirlines Arena, and a young lady was handed a hotel key to see if it would open it up and make her the winner. Well hot damn, the door unlocked when she inserted the key, so she walked through with a giant smile on her face because she knew she had just won a three-day, two night stay at the joint along with a $100 gift card to a restaurant and complimentary spa service.
And that’s when things really got, well, epic:

The young lady was reportedly uninjured, and upon further inspection, it was deemed that the court was still suitable for two garbage teams to play three more quarters of buckets.
Our suggestion for the young lady is that she makes her way to the hotel ASAP and uses that complimentary spa service on a two-hour head massage.
