There are plenty of reasons not to ever step foot in Florida, but here are two more. One: there are giant alligators strolling around on their golf courses. Two: there are giants alligators strolling around — period. If that’s not enough for you, how about alligators that jump inside your boat? Because that’s exactly what happened to one couple.
When their boat got stuck near a log on the Florida swaps, Tylor Hindery and his wife thought it would be a rad idea to start streaming on Facebook Live. Wouldn’t you know it, there was an alligator there, too. Sounds like a great viewing experience. Well, let’s just say the couple got a closer look than they wanted, as the alligator jumped right into the boat.

Luckily for the couple, the alligator found its way off the boat and back into the swamp. But boy, that could have been a hell of a lot worse for everyone around. The lesson here is to never get that close to an alligator. Check that — the lesson here is to never get that close to the state of Florida.
