Can you blame her? She needed her dessert fill.
Everyone handles a breakup differently — some folks handle it by posting Snapchats in order to deal with their emotions, while someone people listen to music to heal their wounds (but not “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men cause that’s the worst breakup song ever). But one woman decided to handle her “breakup” in a very unusual way. Oh, and she didn’t break up with a person, she broke up with her gelato shop. Thought I would add that key piece of information in.

Australian gelato shop, Gelato Messina received a voicemail so hilarious (and brutal) that it had no other choice than to share it on their Facebook for all their gelato-loving fans to hear. Who left the voicemail? One of their very, very distraught customers who had just discovered that the shop had closed early for New Year’s Eve.
The shop shared it on their Facebook with the caption, “To the lady who left this on our voicemail on New Years Eve, we really are sorry and we love you too. Let’s get back together?”
Take a look at the fantastic voicemail below:
“My New Year’s Eve is now ruined. I had plans to buy at least a litre and a half of Messina, as I do every week, and sit on my couch, and eat it and then make New Year’s Eve resolutions to never eat it again.” Holy hell, someone put a ring on this gal.
Some people of course thought this voicemail was a fake, but the company wants everyone to know it is as real as it gets.
“We promise it’s real,” the shop states. “All had a very good laugh in the office today and genuinely are curious as to who this lady is.”
I really hope they give this gal a year supply of free gelato. Now that’s how to mend some fresh wounds.
