Now that’s being quick on your feet.

We’ve shared stories before of moms who thought they discovered that their kid was doing drugs, but of course that wasn’t the case. We all remember the mom who grounded her daughter when she thought she found drugs in her room, only to learn they were actually dinosaur capsules. There was also the Alabama mom who baked a hilarious apology cake after also wrongly accusing her daughter of taking drugs. Well, the woman below is just another clueless mom.

A 15-year-old teen named Christian switched phone numbers with his mom, but there was one little problem: The kid didn’t tell his weed dealer this minor change. So of course the weed dealer texted his customer’s old phone number, but in fact he was texting his customer’s mom instead. And thanks to some quick thinking, the kid’s dealer saved him from a heap of trouble.

Check out the text exchange thanks to Christian’s sister, Anna, who shared a photo of the convo on Twitter.

“I heard he lonely af.” Incredible.

Unfortunately for Christian, Anna tells Mashable that their mom eventually did learn what “bud” means, and Christian denied it all.

But the real hero in this is that weed dealer — a weed dealer that has your best interest in mind is one friend to never let go of.
