So This Is How Much The Fresh Prince’s Cab Fare From West Philadelphia To Bel-Air Would Have Cost

The Fresh Price Of Bel-Air has been off the air now for 20 years, but we love it now more than ever. I mean, Alex Trebek is still singing the theme song. Well, in that theme song that everyone knows so well, Will Smith takes a cab while in LA, and yet many people think he takes it from his home in West Philadelphia all the way to Bel-Air. And yet, the folks at Break still decided to calculate how much it would cost if Will would have actually taken a cab from that massive distance.

I don’t know if someone was in bed thinking and wondered, “hey, I wonder how much a cab from Philly to Cali would cost,” all while humming that familiar tune, but someone actually figured it out. Ready?

$7,290.

Yep. It will probably be a tad cheaper to just Forrest Gump-it and just run all the way there. Although, you’d have to think that Will’s rich family would have at least sent a limo to pick him up from the airport at least. I mean, it’s the least they can do, even though they did let him stay with them for more than a decade, all while he made their life a living hell. Classic.

Oh, and if someone was crazy enough to take that cab ride it would take them about 40 hours. And when I think about it this just sounds like a buddy comedy that someone needs to make: Spending 40 hours in a car together for some reason. Hollywood can fill in the rest.
