Didn’t we tell you that another one of these cases was going to happen? It was only a matter of time.
So after we told you about the substitute teacher from Georgia who invited two students to her home and slept with them both, as well as the teacher who was caught having sex with two students in her classroom on the same day, it seems we have another teacher who just couldn’t help but take her teachings a tad farther.
Olivia Sondheim, a 25-year-old married high school choir teacher from Washington State was arrested after it was discovered she had had sex with a 16-year-old student. Sondheim was taken into custody after detectives served a search warrant. Sondheim, who was a teacher at Lynnwood High School, has been charged with first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor.
Administrators with the Edmonds School District first heard of the allegations against the teacher last week and relayed the information to a school resource officer who, in turn, reached out to police.
The boy is now 17-years-old and will receive high-fives from now until further notice.
