Geez, what’s next? Making Stephen Hawking run a marathon?
It’s not every day that you see a blind man play the keys so well that he wins a Grammy Award, much less 22 of them over what turns out to be one of the most illustrious R&B careers of all time. I mean, composing and performing top-notch music as well as tickling the ivories is hard enough when you can see the sheet music and instrument in front of you, so you can only imagine how difficult it is when you have to pretty much just guess on a frequent basis.
It’s pretty much the same thing when it comes to shooting free throws on the basketball court. Perhaps other than having two hands, the biggest reason behind Steve Nash knocking down over 90 percent of his free throw attempts in his career was the fact that he could see the target in front of him.
Exhibit A of our argument? You guessed it: Stevie Wonder attempting a free throw over the weekend.

That actually wasn’t that bad considering the fact that he’s, you know, blind.
Hopefully the organizer of the event came to his or her senses and hired a driver to take Mr. Wonder back to his hotel room instead of seeing if he wanted to give driving a shot as well.
