Your Honor, if they take away his license to drive that thing, how is he supposed to get to the kitchen to get another beer?
According to WBRZ, a 54-year-old Palm Bay man in dire need of a razor now needs to find himself a lawyer, as well, after police arrested him Monday night for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
The vehicle? You guessed it: A motorized wheelchair.
Florida Man Gets DUI In Motorized Wheelchair
Police responded to a call of a man in a wheelchair blocking lanes on a local bridge, and when they arrived on the scene, they found Ronny Scott Hicks bleeding from his head and slurring his speech. He also reeked of boozed, so they asked him to take a field sobriety test.
Hicks not only refused to take the field sobriety and breathalyzer tests, but he also declined any treatment for his head wound. So, police took him downtown and charged him with his third DUI.
His prior DUI convictions both came while he was behind the wheel of an automobile, but those just sound boring.
