Ahlem Manai-Plat is a Paris native but currently calls Los Angeles her home. We don’t quite know if it was her roots or her new hood that’s responsible for her amazing eyewear collection, but we’re betting both had something to do with it. Combined with her inherently amazing style and drive, Ahlem founded Ahlem Eyewear, a sun and optical eyewear company for men and woman, and we’re dazzled.

The frames have a European feel (which we would expect), with understated details and unexpected color offerings. Each frame is entirely handmade in Oyonnax, France, and made of Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate. Equally stylish on men and women, could probably pick up a pair that’s made for the other team and completely love it. These glasses are look defining.

Ahlem eyewear ranges between about $250 to $500, and each frame is named after a neighborhood in Paris. You may not be able to (eloquently) pronounce the style, but you will absolutely be able to interpret the compliments you get on a regular basis.
