Perhaps you are keen for a gastronomical adventure that goes beyond the everyday ho-hum of conventional dining? Well, London-based think tank Lollipop may have something to whet your appetite: a pop-up restaurant concept that offers diners a chance to sate their stomachs while unencumbered by all the drab conventions of modern life: electricity, mobile devices…clothing.
Yes, you heard correctly. The Bunyadi, Hindi for “fundamental, base or natural”, will serve a menu made from all-natural ingredients to patrons sitting in one of two zones: a purist zone for those who wish to dine in the buff, and a zone for those who wish to remain clothed. The eatery will also offer a full serving bar and a dressing area.
The “Naked and Pure” Zone.
“We believe people should get the chance to enjoy and experience a night out without any impurities: no chemicals, no artificial colors, no electricity, no gas, no phone and even no clothes if they wish to,” says Sebastian Lyall, founder of Lollipop. “The idea is to experience true liberation.”

This naked restaurant isn’t the first provocative dining concept Lollipop has produced. The firm is also famous for creating a Breaking Bad-inspired meth lab cocktail bar called ABQ that is housed in an RV. But not even this has garnered the attention that The Bunyadi has received. Naturalists, purists, foodies, and voyeurs have quickly taken action to partake in the 3-month-long pop-up experience. Presently, there are over 26,000 people on the waiting list for tickets.
“We create unique experiences because we believe people deserve nothing less,” says Lyall.
