A highly advanced invention from Naked Labs allows users to assess their percentage of body weight, letting them know if their trips to the gym are paying off by analyzing the metrics of their body.
The Naked 3D Fitness Tracker is the first of its kind, consisting of a mirror and a scale which work in tandem in order to create and then assess a 3D image of the user. After stepping on the scale, it rotates 360 degrees like a turntable in order for the mirror to scan your front, back and sides, while the scale measures your weight. The scanning is captured using Intel RealSense sensors, utilizing infrared light in order to capture your image in around 20 seconds. After this process, it relays the information it’s gathered to your smartphone via its iPhone/Android companion app, providing a detailed analysis of its results.
These results, represented by a recreation of your entire body in 3D, will log your measurements, body fat percentage and weight, allowing you to access this data for future reference. Naked Labs suggests stepping onto the scale naked in order to get the best results, though if you’re hesitant to have a 3D-rendered model of your genitals sent to your phone, you can opt to wear underwear instead.

You can then use the results to record your fitness progress in a time-lapse of your body shape and weight, flicking through the different 3D models that the Fitness Tracker has saved of you in order to see your body’s transformation through any given period of time.
The Naked 3D Fitness Tracker will set you back $499, with shipping set to begin in March 2017. You can find out how to order it right here.
