The Shelby Mustang GT350-H turns 50 this year, and Ford partnered with their old friends at Shelby and new buddies at Hertz to offer anyone the chance to drive a special anniversary model of the world famous muscle car.
The Ford Shelby GT-H will be part of the Hertz Adrenaline collection at select airports across the country — a set of elite vehicles anyone with the budget and driving skill can rent while traveling.

Hertz will add a limited run of 140 GT350-H Mustangs. Each features the car’s traditional colors to match the Hertz brand, a black exterior with Shelby LeMans dual gold racing stripes.
For its part, Ford Performance will supply cat-back performance exhaust for each of the 140 Mustangs, providing a roaring exhaust note in each.
The complete specs on this anniversary Shelby Mustang aren’t yet available here at NYIAS, the GT-H will include a Shelby-designed vented hood, a carbon fiber front splitter and rear spoiler. The track-ready interior will include inflating seat belts and head restraint.
To make this muscle car behave for any driver, each of the Ford Shelby GT-H rentals will include the Ford Racing Handling Pack with special-tuned dampers, lowering springs, sway bars, a staggered wheel kit, 19-inch aluminum wheels and track-ready Michelin rubber.
The GT-H fleet will arrive at Hertz later this year with car specs and rental rates to hit just prior to that debut.
