Le Specs has some flesh in the game. Founded in 1979, the brand was an icon in the 80s, but if you’re not familiar, don’t be too hard on yourself. The company is based in Australia, and relaunched in 2006. Fast forward to modern times, and there are plenty of reasons why you need a pair of these shades.
The current line up by Le Specs has a lot of variety, and plenty of innovation. Case in point: their hyper reflective, mirrored lenses that really look like no other. For frames, the variety is expansive – from wire versions to premium acetate in a vast array of colors. And the best news is that the diverse lineup is affordable, priced from $60 to about $120.
