The runway kicked off with a bang on Day 3 of the New York Fashion Week: Men’s 2016, featuring emerging designers Ovadia and Sons and Brett Johnson, with each of these designers breaking the traditional mold of menswear presentation. Separates are definitely in and are fusing into both formal and casual flair. From formal to streetwear trends, the newly inspired creations are framing a newly tapped men’s “leisure comfort style” which is emerging onto all the runways.

The chic mash-up and fresh perspectives are walking in every show, from three-pieces suits, to the multiple layering of separates including shirts, sweaters, vests and coats. The overcoat worn cape-style, the vest and blazer combination with casual pants, and the rounded hat, all pair with varieties of fabrics from silks, tweed to velvets to tease the senses.
