Samsung has accidentally leaked confirmation of its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone, with the manufacturer posting details of the device on its official website.
While there have been no images posted of the phone, Samsung referenced it three times on the company’s site, confirming its S7 Edge name and that it will also sport the ‘Wide Type’ Edge panels that are also set to grace the S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus after they’re upgrade to Android Marshmallow. These Wide Type panels allow for a greater variety of widgets to displayed on an Edge device, with them being similar in design to Microsoft’s Windows panels.
