The folks at JustPark asked which of James Bond’s movie cars would win in a fictionalized quarter mile drag race. Of course, the answer is the fastest, most advanced and most modern car devised for the films, which might seem like a bit of a letdown — “dog bites man” news.
JustPark is a UK-based service allowing drivers to pick their parking space before they leave. Is it a shameless publicity grab by an online app looking to cash in on the imminent success of a major motion picture? Damn right it is. But, it took some work and creativity, so we’ll give them a “Q” for effort and run with it.
The fastest Bond ride was, of course, the specially build Aston Martin DB-10 – a limited edition built exclusively for the film. The fastest cars across the board were all modern imports from Aston, BMW and Jaguar.
The latest Bond adventure, Spectre, is playing now in the UK and sent to open in the U.S. next week.
