Friends fans, assemble! Joey, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Ross’ favourite New York café, Central Perk, is making its way to Australia in pop-up format this October, giving us all a chance to sprawl out on its velvet couch, sip on a fresh brew and really just pretend we’re actually on the set of Friends.
The pop-up Central Perk café is making its way to Sydney in less than a week’s time to celebrate all 236 Friends episodes coming to streaming service Stan. The café will be open for two weeks, and is promising plenty of free coffee and the chance to win some Friends merchandise.
The Central Perk pop-up café is up and running from the 5th to 18th October in Sydney’s Hyde Park. For the exact location and the café’s opening times, visit the Central Perk pop-up Facebook event page.
It remains unclear as to whether or not anyone will be on hand to perform the Phoebe Buffay classic Smelly Cat at Sydney’s Central Perk pop-up, so SOMEONE BRING A GUITAR.
