Over the last few days, a glorious image of a man wearing a box of goon at a street fair has been doing the rounds, and for good reason.
The photo of the man’s creation, which comes complete with a cup dispenser, was uploaded to image sharing site Imgur by a user called Thelandmine, who captioned the snap with, “My favourite guy at the street fair,” before it made its way around Reddit.
According to Stoney Roads, the invention has appropriately been dubbed The Goonpack, and is already giving everyone ideas about how they could better enjoy their next music festival.
The Goonpack has essentially revolutionised the goon-drinking game by making even a large box of the stuff super-portable. It’s sturdy, features a clean tape-job and the spout is easily accessible for a cup or a mouth, although it is pretty close to the butt of The Goonpack wearer.
So there’s just one question – is this creation for everyone at a festival to go nuts on, or is it just a clever way to transport one’s goon? The only way to find out is probably just to try it out.
A festival where it would have been complete genius to wear a Goonpack is Sydney’s Boxfest: A Festival Of The Goon Bag, which took place in July.
Even if Goonpack man missed out on that event, he’s already inspiring festival-goers around the world to think outside the goon box.
